The PERMOS Office is responsible for the operation and coordination of the monitoring network. The PERMOS Scientific Committee deals with all issues concerning monitoring strategy, site selection, and data management and processing. The PERMOS Steering Committee supervises finances, activities and strategies. The PERMOS Partner Institutions maintain the measurement sites, gather and process data, and contribute to the reporting. The Cryospheric Commission (EKK) of the SCNAT is responsible for the coordination between the monitoring networks of the Swiss cryosphere (snow, glaciers, and permafrost).
